I find many things ridiculous and I am always amazed by what people will spend money on. For example I was browsing through one of those mall magazines you get free while on the airplane and came across a gadget that I could believe people would pay hundreds of dollars for. The item in question is a dog gps collar which keeps tabs on your dog at all times.
This is just seems ubsord to me. Why on earth would you constantly need to track your dog and why would you want to spend $500 dollars on such an item. Is it so hard to train your dog to behave and not run away? I guess that means I’m old fashioned but I just could not believe we have come to this.

I recently received my government $40 off coupon after waiting nearly two months and am now trying to decide which TV converter box I should purchase. I have found some tv converter box reviews on the internet but none that I am really all that comfortable with.
Consumer Reports is the only company I can find that has a lot of reviews and a past record of reviewing products. Since I have been unable to find any reviews that I like I wanted to ask my readers for help. If you could either point me toward some good reviews or suggest a converter box that would be great. If you do suggest one please only do so if you have had actual experience using the converter box.

With people struggling finally and our economic state going down the tube it has been very easy for people to simply turn to a chapter bankruptcy to resolve their problems. If you have been considering this option then I am here to tell you that you need to avoid it at all costs.
Bankruptcy may seem like the easy way out but in the end it ends up costing you a ton more money. When you file for bankruptcy it will completely destroy your credit and will make it very hard for you to get any type of loan or credit for up to 10 years from the time that you initially filed. In some circumstance it is unavoidable but it should only be used as a last resort.

Recently I was shopping around for some new books for my ever expanding library of children’s books. One of the things that I have always tried to teach my children is to love books and not sit on their butts all day playing video games.
I think that books are the best things to expand a childs knowledge and imagination. Books let kids think in their minds about different things. They also let them expand their knowledge about different topics.
I hate the fact that some of the books on the market today are so “modern” in the fact that they are just telling a story with no point to it. Kids books should be fun, but I personally think that they should really teach a lesson or create some thought provoking conversation for parents to teach a life lesson.
One of the best children’s books that I have found is Usborne Books. The artwork and illustrations are wonderful and the books are really sturdy too. Some of the books also have internet links in them so that the kids can still go online to a safe place and learn more about a topic. You can check out Usborne Books and learn more about them, and I hope you like them as much as I do.

With the digital transition approaching very quickly many people have been wondering what they are going to do to keep their TV working after the transition. Some have already gotten a new TV and others have subscribe to cable or satellite TV. These two options are great but I am here to tell you that getting a TV converter box a better and cheaper option. For awhile I didn’t think this would be true but with a good converter box like the Dish Network DTVPal it is clearly the best option. People who have gotten the DTVPal were only required to spend about $20 after shipping and taxes. The early reports about it say that people are getting a cable quality picture and up to 10 new channels. This sounds like a great deal to me. A perfect picture and more channels for only $20!!!

Well, my embroidery machine is broke. I’m not sure where to get it fixed or even if it is worth trying to fix it. I have an old Brother embroidery machine and it was acting up some. I thought it was the foot pedal that was causing it to give me problems, but it wasn’t.
It would work and then all of a sudden stop, like it was stuck in between cycles or something. Then it would slowly start up again.
It all began a couple of weeks ago when we had some storms come through from that hurricane that hit Texas. We lost power after getting hit by lightning and I thought all was well. After the power came back up, it hasn’t acted right since then.
I wonder if the lightning strike caused that problem? Would it ruin my embroidery machine like that? I guess it’s good that I still have my machine embroidery designs still on my computer so I guess I need a new embroidery machine.

Has anyone ever heard of Mackenzie Lee? Apparently she has a home cash course that teaches people how to make cash using the internet. Apparently she’s been all over the TV stations doing interviews on MSNBC, CNN and FOX talking about her product. I don’t know if she’s for real or not but a few reviews I’ve read are pretty flattering and they give her a lot of credentials.
Somebody needs to answer me this–how much money do I need to make using the internet before I can start my own little program and teach people stuff? I’m actually wondering what qualifications someone needs before they are allowed to teach this stuff. So, has anyone heard of Ms.Lee?

I got a dog gps today and it is awesome. I can’t believe I went with out one of these things for all these years. I think the coolest feature is that I can call the gps collar from my cell phone I get a pin point location of where my dog is at. This is perfect for me because it seems like my dog is always jumping over the fence for adventures and I’m left searching her down for hours. Really the only down side I can see is if she goes too far and she get’s out of range of the GPS sattelites. But hey, I’m willing to take my chances. I post about this later when I have some more experience with it. Cheers!

Most aspiring writers have no idea how to get started. They are confused about the choices and quickly get overwhelmed by the vast amount of freelance writing job websites on the market.
If you are one of them, don’t worry. There is a simple strategy you can apply to get going in your business and it doesn’t cost you a cent either.
To start off you will want to go to one of the various writing job websites on the market. Look at all the listings that offer writing jobs. Get a good feel of the market before you sign up as a free user.
You should also make sure that you only sign up if you think you can get work for rates that are good enough for you. My advice for new writers is not to worry about rates too much. At this stage you need to build up a portfolio.
Once you are a member, start bidding for the jobs you like. Be different than the other bidders and try to stand out to score your first job.
Also, if it doesn’t work the first time around just keep going. It will work eventually. Good luck.

I just love the two kittens of my next door neighbor. As she has a difficult job, she uses to leave the kittens unattended for long hours every day. So, we had a deal: once or twice a week, she gives me the kittens for a whole day, so I can entertain them. One morning, I noticed my neighbor was searching the net for reviews for Lambert Kay Miticide for cats. Suddenly, I got scared, and realized that in case something happens with the kitties, I have no clue what to do. Since that day, I was afraid of taking the cats to play anymore. I’m sure I can’t drive to the vet with two crazy kittens playing in my car.
